BioI am a self-confessed grub. I am noisy. I read comics and books. I have an affinity for white skivvies and socks with holes...not only because I wish it was winter all the time but because I hate shopping so very much. I study media and communications at UNSW and I never want to get a real job.
I hate Foucault and media theory with a passion but I love Valorie Solanis because she`s the funniest woman I`ve ever read. I'm politically and socially left wing. I can't stand apathy, ignorance, bad spelling or emo wankers. I like to write, to take the piss and generally have a good time. I'm a pretty erratic and crazy creature prone to talking underwater and smoking too much drum.
I am a dag and my hair is always messy. I have a tattoo on my elbow but am trying not to fit into the lesbians with tattoos and no brains stereotype. I write for a student newspaper and am pretty left wing.
I have a thing for 80s kids tv.... The Sooty Show, Gumby, Lift Off, Superted, Puddle Lane, Bananaman, Degrassi Junior High.....the list goes on
My favourite band is The Postal Service and my favourite movie is Ghost World.
Kath and Kim are my idols, and when I grow up I want to be effluent and noice just like wot they are.
I love: beers with friends, watching degrassi non stop for entire weekends, history, media production, flogging posters from the media labs to decorate my trashy bedroom, rainy days, beanies, odd socks and shoes, reading, writing, blogging, fucking about online when I have reading to do, 2am free spring rolls at the zanzi bar, wednesday trivia....
